Total Racing along with Formula 1 Guru Trevor Kersey attended both the Wombwell and Halifax circuits to test the all new Genius FXR Formula 1 Racing car, although on both occasions the conditions were slightly on the damp side. This did not stop the test as the servos and electrics are hidden well within the inside of the body. the test started at a very slow pace at the Wombwell circuit, enabling the 26cc Abbate race engine to be run in, after a few runs at the Wombwell circuit, the rain started to pour quite heavily. So it was back to the workshop for some minor tweaks and then the wait for a drier weekend hopefully at Halifax. Arriving at Halifax, it looked to be very busy with various scales testing and running in for the coming season. Trevor wasted no time and the circuit was alive, showing some of the 4 wheel drive cars a nice view of the carbon rear wing.. The car had tremendous grip in very adverse conditions, with so many settings and adjustments to try on the car it was to be a long hard day. Towards the end of the day, with the track still damp, Trevor with the FXR was putting in some very fast laps,(i think a few were shocked with the handling of this car in these conditions).
