Saloon

The saloon class is generally regarded as the most prestigous and challenging class. The level of racing can be demanding and therefore is aimed at the more experienced driver. The cars in this class are very highly tuned, although entry level cars can be used.

GTS

New in 2010 (formely Sports GT), only difference for this class is the use of any bodyshell can now be used. In the past this has been a popular and well supported class. it is the ideal place for a newcomer with its friendly but competitive racing. to be competetive in this class it is not necessary to have a highly tuned car, although most racers cannot resist "the shiny bits".

Formula 1

These cars can be bought as a basic kit using plastic components or as a full competion alloy version. the cars use grooved slick tyres which are very durable and give good grip. the F1 cars have fully adjustable geometry which helps handle all track conditions. A full grid of these is an impressive sight. With many British Formula 1 teams, lets hope this generates some interest for this class enabling a successful season.

4 Wheel Drive

MCD's will run as before which is standard parts and kit tyres and engines upto 29cc.
Open 4 WD's must be supplied by the manufacturer as a largescale circuit car (no modified off road cars) standard 26cc engines and no tuning parts or wet weather tyres.
The cars will run in the same qualifying heats and finals but will earn there own seperate points. ie. 4 WD MCD and 4 WD Open Classes.
